Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Sales Representative to drive the growth of electronic price signs within the retail petroleum sector. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, with a focus on delivering value through relationship-based selling and technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have a manufacturing background with strong technical aptitude and understanding of product assembly processes. This position offers the opportunity to work with complex, high-value products in defined territories, some of which offer strong growth potential. You'll be selling physical gas price signage (not software) with long sales cycles that require consultative selling and the ability to build trust and credibility in the market. The successful candidate will be passionate about technical sales, relationship building, and have experience with complex product sales rather than high-volume, quick-turn products.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the Retail Petroleum sector
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets in assigned territories
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to tailor solutions to client requirements
- Present and demonstrate product features and benefits to prospective clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives
- Prepare and negotiate contracts and pricing proposals for complex signage solutions
- Coordinate training sessions for new and existing clients
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
- Manage long sales cycles (6 months to 1 year) with consultative selling approach
- Utilize extensive lead database of over 132,000 contacts for territory development
- Focus on relationship-based selling to develop and maintain long-term client partnerships
Required Experience/Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience in technical sales within the manufacturing industry
- Background in manufacturing with understanding of product assembly processes
- Technical aptitude with familiarity in electronics preferred
- Experience with long sales cycles and consultative selling methodologies
- Success in selling complex, single products rather than high-volume, quick-turn products
- Skilled in relationship-based selling with ability to build trust and credibility
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (NetSuite experience preferred)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and management skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to travel 50%–70% to support territory development and client meetings
- More experienced sales professionals preferred (not entry-level candidates)

Pay & Benefits Summary
- Competitive base salary: $65,000 – $80,000
