About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join the team at Grays Harbor Community Hospital — a 50–149 bed Level III Trauma Center nestled in the heart of the Pacific Northwest near Aberdeen, WA. In this role, you will provide comprehensive emergency nursing care as part of a collaborative, team-oriented ED staff. Extra shift pick-up opportunities are available for those looking to maximize earnings. RTO must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract, with full availability required for scheduling. Meditech EMR experience is helpful but not required. This assignment is situated close to the stunning PNW beaches and the Olympic National Forest — an outdoor enthusiast's dream location.
Requirements
- Active Washington State RN license or multi-state compact license (must be currently active)
- Verification of demographics from Nursys required
- Approved 6-hour suicide training required
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Current BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- TNCC and NIHSS certifications required
- Meditech EMR experience helpful but not required
- Holiday coverage required
- Full scheduling availability required — all RTO must be pre-approved and added to end of contract
- W-2 employees only — 1099 not accepted
