Leadership & Team Development - Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering team while establishing clear expectations, accountability, and career growth pathways. Foster alignment around strategic priorities and a shared vision for success.
Product Development - Lead the innovation and evolution of product offerings through research, evaluation, and continuous improvement. Oversee testing, validation, and documentation to ensure quality and market relevance.
Technical Expertise & Training - Serve as a trusted technical advisor to both internal teams and external partners. Develop and deliver training, resources, and presentations that translate complex concepts into actionable insights for engineers, specifiers, and clients.
Commercial Strategy - Strengthen key customer relationships while defining and executing the vision for commercial services. Drive revenue growth, performance metrics, and overall departmental success.
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license(s)
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering 8 years in geotechnical/structural engineering
- Expertise in soil mechanics, deep foundation design, and building construction
- Leadership experience managing technical teams and setting vision
- Proficiency in modeling software (AutoCAD, Inventor) and materials expertise (steel, concrete)
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Willingness to travel occasionally across the U.S. and Canada
