Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Talent Acquisition Director to lead recruiting efforts across our multi-state dental laboratory network. This role will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, building talent pipelines, and developing innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent in both technical roles (such as: lab technicians, CAD/CAM specialists) and corporate functions (such as: accounting, operations, sales, management).
The ideal candidate will be a proactive recruiter who understands the unique challenges of hiring talent in specialized manufacturing and healthcare-adjacent industries, and can effectively manage recruitment across multiple locations and time zones.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Working in partnership with the HR team, provide oversite and strategic planning related to the full-cycle recruitment for positions across all locations, including dental technicians, lab managers, corporate staff, and leadership roles
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, professional networks, industry events, and employee referrals
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and high-turnover positions
- Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and manage candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and cultural fit
Employer Branding & Marketing
- Develop compelling job descriptions and recruitment marketing materials
- Enhance employer brand across digital platforms (LinkedIn, really, Glassdoor, industry-specific sites)
- Represent the company at job fairs, dental technology schools, and industry conferences
- Create and manage employee referral programs
Strategy & Operations
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire)
- Optimize applicant tracking system (ATS) workflows and maintain accurate candidate data
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws across all locations
- Develop location-specific recruiting strategies based on local market conditions
- Manage relationships with staffing agencies and recruiting vendors as needed
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Build strong partnerships with lab managers and department heads across all locations
- Provide market intelligence and compensation insights to leadership
- Work closely with HR team on onboarding, retention strategies, and workforce planning
- Train hiring managers on interview techniques, candidate assessment, and compliance
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, healthcare, or technical industries
- Proven success recruiting for hard-to-fill technical or specialized roles
- Experience managing recruitment across multiple locations or states
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruiting tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, ATS platforms)
- Understanding of federal and multi-state employment law and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting in dental, medical device, manufacturing, or laboratory environments
- Knowledge of dental lab roles, certifications (CDT), and career pathways
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with high-volume recruiting and building talent pipelines
