Opportunity!

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects in our services department related to surface protection and wear management solutions at our Menomonee Falls facility. The ideal candidate will have prior experience and/or knowledge in metal fabrication/welding.

Position Overview

The Project Manager - Metal Fabrication will oversee the entire lifecycle of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Lead projects related to anti-wear solutions and mechanical manufacturing for industrial clients
• Analyze the technical needs of clients and recommend the most suitable solution
• Prepare quotes for potential projects
• Support sales team in developing projects for key industry clients and managing client communications
• Analyze potential risks in projects
• Plan and coordinate the different phases of projects: material selection, implementation, scheduling and performance validation
• Communicate and coordinate with production team to optimize workflow
• Oversee logistics and procurement of materials and equipment
• Develop, maintain and manage timelines and budgets
• Develop and adapt internal standard documents to meet industry needs
• Potential travel to customer sites – 10%
• Other tasks as defined
  
  

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Degree or technical diploma in project management, engineering technology, engineering preferred
• 2-5 years of project management in a manufacturing environment, specifically in fabrication and welding
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication and welding processes
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Self-motivated and results oriented
• Excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate with production personnel and clients
• Understand the methodology of project management
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
• Ability to travel 10%
