Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Some management and/or key holder experience is preferred. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation.
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Help maintain inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management.
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Team player mentality with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
