What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Castle Rock Home Care?
We are a 75 bed independent living facility. It is encouraged to send youre resume and to also call 845-831-1909 to set up a interview.
- Thoroughly clean rooms per schedule
- Spot clean every resident’s bathroom of the facility.
- Clean common area bathrooms and showers daily.
- Clean lobby, hallways and activity room.
- Vacuum all carpeted areas throughout the facility.
- Sweep and mop dining room every after each meal.
- Collect and dispose all trash from resident room wastebaskets and from facility trash cans.
- Collect all dirty clothes/ linens as per laundry schedule.
- Bed linen must be done as scheduled.
- Soiled clothes/linen: Follow procedure in collaboration with the staff help in all shifts.
- For new admissions inspect the bedroom assigned and you will be notified 24 hours ahead to check the following:
- A made bed, bedside drawer, 1 chair (desk only in a private room)
- Assigned closet is clean with adequate clothes hangers.
- Clean towels
- New bar of soap
- Box of tissues by bedside drawer, mug and toilet paper
- Condition of shower curtains
- Shower chair
- Shower mat
- Conduct monthly housekeeping inventory checks and place monthly housekeeping supplies orders.
- Assist the dietary department and all departments as needed.
- When necessary, the housekeeper is required to take on other responsibilities Administration assigns him/her to do.
