The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves performing a variety of plumbing tasks in residential and commercial settings, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Construction and Remodel: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Train, Mentor, and Guide Apprentices to learn the trade.
- Perform routine cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of residential and light commercial plumbing.
- Diagnose issues and replace faulty components.
- Conduct thorough operation checks to verify proper system functionality.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with clients.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and handymen, to complete construction plumbing tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, follow job specifications, and adhere to local and national plumbing codes.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
