Summary
Cass Precision Machining is seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist (Class 3/A) to
join our team. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in set-up, programming, and
operation of CNC Swiss machines, with a strong preference for experience on Tsugami
equipment. This role is responsible for producing high-quality precision parts, optimizing
machine performance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC Swiss machines (preferably Tsugami) to
manufacture precision components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Select, install, and adjust tooling and fixtures for optimal machining performance.
• Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers,
gauges) to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and improve
processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement, 5S, and Lean initiatives.
• Train and mentor less experienced machinists as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Swiss Machinist, with proven set-up and
programming skills.
• Experience with Tsugami CNC Swiss machines.
• Proficient in G-code programming and CNC controls.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
