Installation TechnicianSUMMARYThis position is responsible for providing world-class customer service while executing installationactivities of HVAC systems and refrigeration (reach-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, etc) and otherfacility services (ventilation hoods, etc) and commercial food equipment and appliances (grills, ovens,fryers, etc), for our valued customers. This is a non-supervisory position and reports to the InstallationField Manager.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES(Includes the following but other duties may be assigned.) Coordinate with Installation Field Manager to assure consistency in our service strategy andexecution. Properly inspects the effectiveness of equipment being installed Prepares and performs installation of commercial kitchen in compliance with applicable codesand Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA) Provides elite customer service and professionally communicates to customers. Identifies problems and defects, collects data, establishes facts, and enters accurateinformation into tablet, and communicates effectively with dispatcher and customer. Follows safe work practices/accident prevention procedures using risk management Maintains a neat and orderly truck and performs part and tool inventories. Ability to work with little direct supervision with accuracy. Conduct yourself in accordance with the Company Code of Ethics Policy at all times. Other duties and activities as deemed necessary by leadership This position requires no duct workQUALIFICATIONS Must be safety conscious and implement risk management skills. Must perform well on a team. Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and holidays. Ability to work with little direct supervision with accuracy. A customer-focused attitude, with a high degree of professionalism. Ability to analyze, retain and solve problems. Proven ability to handle inventory needs. Must have effective communication skills. Must establish and maintain good relationships with customers across different geographiesand cultures.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED. Basic understanding of electrical, HVAC, ice machines, and commercial kitchen equipment. Strong understanding equipment installation processes, methods, and codes. Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and traditional commercial kitchen andHVAC devices. Knowledge or experience of computer systems and tablets.CERTIFICATES/LICENSES Must have valid drivers license.
