Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper with QuickBooks Online expertise to manage our daily financial tracking and accounting health. You will handle full-cycle bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and financial reporting directly from our Yakima, WA office. The ideal candidate functions independently, catches discrepancies quickly, and optimizes our digital financial workflows.

Job Details

• Job Type: Part-time
• Hours: typical 8am – 4:30pm (Flexible)
• Schedule: Flexible 2 - 3 days a week]
• Location: On-Premises (Yakima, WA)
• Compensation: $26.00 - $28/ hour dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management: Record daily financial transactions, invoices, and payments in QuickBooks Online.
• Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations for all bank accounts, credit cards, and lines of credit.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage vendor bills, track employee expense reimbursements, and process client invoicing.
• Payroll Processing: Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing, including tracking payroll tax compliance.
• Financial Reporting: Generate monthly and quarterly balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports for management review.
• Tax Preparation: Prepare necessary documentation for quarterly state tax remittances (Washington B&O tax) .

Qualifications & Skills

Required

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience.
• QuickBooks Expertise: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online with an understanding of its ecosystem, bank feeds, app integrations, and troubleshooting.
• Accounting Principles: Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Soft Skills: Extreme attention to detail, strict data confidentiality, and strong time management skills.
