We are looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you’ll oversee general ledger management for multiple clients, process payroll, and lead cleanup projects. Beyond the numbers, you’ll mentor junior staff, guide client relationships, and work side-by-side with our CEO to manage client engagement performance and establish clear, effective work SOPs.

Qualifications
- 5 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably in a senior or full-charge, client-facing role.
- Core Accounting Expertise: Deep experience managing general ledgers, A/R and A/P, journal entries, amortization, and asset schedules.
- Financial Reporting: Hands-on experience preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements for small and mid-sized businesses.
- Excise & Payroll Tax Compliance: Proven experience preparing Department of Revenue filings and quarterly employer payroll returns.
- Software Proficiency: Strong skills in QBO, Excel, and payroll software, with an eagerness to learn new platforms and optimize workflows.
- Execution & Accuracy: Exceptional numerical accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for building strong relationships with clients and financial partners.
