The Opportunity
We’re growing and looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Outsourced Accounting team (CAS). In this role, you’ll work closely with clients, support month‑end close and financial reporting, review and mentor team members, and serve as a trusted accounting partner.

What You’ll Do
Client Accounting & Close
- Manage and maintain general ledgers for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance
- Perform month‑end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations (fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, debt, revenue recognition, and more)
- Prepare clear, accurate monthly financial statements and reports—including more complex client engagements (nonprofits, multi‑entity organizations, unique reporting needs) for next level review
- Track and monitor grants and restricted funds
- Support client cash management needs when applicable
Review & Quality
- Review reconciliations, journal entries, and analyses prepared by associates and staff accountants
- Step in to assist with transaction processing or reconciliations when needed to keep clients on track
- Maintain and monitor client close checklists to ensure deadlines are met consistently
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows—for both clients and our internal team
Client Relationships
- Coordinate and support external financial statement audits
- Participate in client meetings, helping explain financials and share insights in a clear, approachable way
- Proactively communicate progress, roadblocks, and questions to supervisor to keep work moving smoothly
- Serve as a go‑to resource for accounting and software questions, escalating thoughtfully when needed
Team Support & Growth
- Mentor and support staff team members through thoughtful reviews, coaching, and knowledge sharing
