- Develop and oversee therapeutic and regular menus to ensure compliance with physician orders and all applicable federal, state, and company standards.
- Review menus, recipes, and nutritional analyses to ensure appropriate therapeutic diets and resident nutritional needs are met.
- Provide clinical oversight for nutrition assessments, admissions, care planning, and resident food preferences to promote optimal nutritional outcomes.
- Provide regional leadership and support to Dietary Managers and dietary departments, promoting consistent clinical practices, regulatory compliance, and quality resident care.
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI), Infection Prevention, Weight Management, and interdisciplinary team meetings to improve resident outcomes.
- Develop and deliver orientation, education, and ongoing training for dietary staff to support regulatory compliance and best practices.
- B.S. Degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition.
- Must maintain active membership and licensure in the American Dietetic Association, State Dietetic Association and District Dietetic Association
- Must maintain active state license
- At least (2) years' experience as a professional dietitian in long-term care with some administrative responsibility, or one (1) years' experience as a registered consulting dietitian to one or more long-term care facilities.
- Must have a valid resident state driver's license.
- Must be a Registered Dietician
- Must be able to travel to all CASA locations across Indiana.
