Some Essential Duties Include
- Prepare designated bar for daily wine tasting and conduct tastings with guests guiding them on their selections and educating them about the varietals and styles of wine.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the counter areas, sinks and shelves at all times.
- Maintain honesty and integrity in the pouring of wines and ensure all tasting tickets are marked off appropriately.
- Use discretion when providing a “sixth” taste for guests as a tool for selling wine or wine club memberships.
- Alert bar backs when wine inventory is running low.
- Date all newly opened bottles and discard as instructed by management.
- Attending outside wine pouring events on behalf of South Coast Winery Resort & Spa as required.
- Promote the sale of South Coast Winery wine and Wine Club membership.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
