Job Summary
We are a custom furniture manufacturer looking for a Project Manager / Fulfillment Manager to own projects from estimate to final delivery. This role is responsible for tracking jobs through the shop, coordinating materials and labor, and keeping work moving efficiently. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role focused on execution, organization, and throughput β not a desk-only position.
Job Responsibilities
- Organize project specs and estimates
- Interacting with customers for questions and approvals
- Creating work orders and job packets
- Add jobs to the work board and production queue
- Track job progress from start to finish
- Track shop supplies and request replenishment
- Estimate crating and shipping costs
- Obtain shipment quotes
- Schedule freight and deliveries
- Take product photos prior to shipping
- Track job hours and organize time records
- Compile job costs and profitability
- Help implement process improvements (Lean / Six Sigma principles)
- Ensure company processes and standards are followed
Qualifications
Required
- Strong organizational and tracking skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Clear communication and follow-through
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic CRM systems
- Detail-oriented and process-driven
Preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or fabrication
- Project, operations, or fulfillment management experience
- Knowledge of shipping, crating, or logistics
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles
