Automotive Parts Assistant: Chester Springs, PA:
CarShop US-Penske Automotive Group is seeking a hardworking Parts Assistant who will be the face-to-face representative of the Parts Department to the Service Technicians and Service Managers.
What Will You Do?
- The Automotive Parts Assistant is responsible for the shop sales and maintaining the parts inventory.
- He/She will search for the best price, order, and distribute the correct part in a timely manner, which has a direct impact on the ability of the Service Technician to complete the service in accordance with the expectations set by the Service Managers.
- The ideal candidate will maintain the good relationships that CarShop has created with our current vendors, and he/she will seek to expand our vendor base.
- The Automotive Parts Counterperson will proactively communicate the status of the orders with all affected Service Technicians and Departments.
What Skills Do you Bring?
- The successful candidate is organized and has an acute attention to detail.
- Must be able to work on Saturdays.
- He/She has ample computer skills, and has a working knowledge of Ebay.
- The Parts Counterperson will have a demonstrated knowledge of automotive parts.
- The successful candidate will exemplify integrity, strive for self-improvement, and have an open-minded, "can-do" attitude.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug testing, and hold a valid driver's license with a good driving history.
