We’re looking for a General Kitchen Helper to join our Ken’s Diner team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide general kitchen support duties under the direction of the Head Chef.

We’re looking for a General Kitchen Helper to join our Ken’s Diner team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide general kitchen support duties under the direction of the Head Chef.
What you’ll do:
- Support kitchen staff with general duties and food service.
- Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment.
- Receive and store food deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness: wipe surfaces, polish stainless steel, sweep and mop floors.
- Dispose of garbage and recycle cardboard.
- Assist with plating, portioning, and clearing during meal service.
- One (1) year experience in food industry is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with WHMIS, safety, and sanitation preferred.
- Strong English communication skills; friendly and respectful with residents and staff.
- Able to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
