What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser / Food Runner – Crowne Plaza Hotel position at Carpionato Properties Inc?
We are looking for friendly, reliable, and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Busser and Food Runner. As a key part of our front-of-house staff, you’ll be responsible for delivering a welcoming dining experience while ensuring guest satisfaction at every step.
Responsibilities:
- Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery and napkins from tables after dinners are done eating
- Wiping up water spills, food stains and dirt from table
- Refilling drinking glasses with water
- Bring out meal orders if waitstaff are busy
- Handling cleaning of the dining area at the close of day
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is a plus, but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills for order-taking and handling transactions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Understanding food safety and sanitation best practices
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Starting at $15 per hour (plus tips)
Expected Hours: 20 – 40 hours per week
