Carolina PRG is partnering with a rapidly growing North American organization to identify a Senior Tax Analyst who will make an immediate impact on their tax team. This individual will play a key role in supporting a variety of income tax functions, including federal and state tax compliance, tax provision computations, and ongoing tax planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax fillings
- Assist with tax provision calculations and ASC 740 reporting
- Support audits and respond to tax authority inquiries
- Research and interpret tax laws to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and external advisors on tax-related matters
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the tax function
Qualifications:
- 3 years of relevant tax experience; public accounting preferred
- Strong technical foundation in corporate tax and tax provision
- Proficiency in Excel and tax software (e.g., OneSource, Corptax, etc.)
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- CPA or CPA-eligible
