Due to this growth, they are adding an Accounting Manager who can balance leadership and technical expertise while guiding the accounting function of our organization. This position is central to ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong controls, and streamlining processes that support business growth. Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and the monthly close cycle.
- Produce, review, and interpret GAAP-compliant financial statements along with supporting schedules and reconciliations.
- Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff, building a team culture focused on accuracy, ownership, and improvement.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and business leaders to provide input on budgets, forecasts, and performance analysis.
- Monitor compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory standards.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure processes safeguard company resources and reporting integrity.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, implement system enhancements, and introduce automation to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate external audit requirements and act as the primary contact for auditors and other third parties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA credential is mandatory (advanced degree preferred).
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with exposure to both public accounting (Big 4 ideal) and corporate roles.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and experience preparing and reviewing financial statements.
- Skilled in ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or comparable) with strong Excel abilities.
- Proven ability to lead and grow a team while also engaging directly in daily accounting work.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills with close attention to detail.
- Strong communicator with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance colleagues and work effectively across teams.
- Flexible, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
Salary : $125,000 - $140,000
