Carolina PRG is working with a privately held construction company seeking a Construction Contract Administrator to support a high-volume contract environment. This role partners closely with finance, operations, and leadership to manage contract flow, mitigate risk, and ensure agreements are properly reviewed, executed, and maintained across active projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Track contract status and maintain accurate records from receipt through full execution
- Review subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and service agreements to identify financial, legal, and operational risk
- Coordinate execution of contracts, including obtaining signatures and distributing finalized agreements to internal teams
- Analyze key contract provisions such as insurance requirements, liability terms, and payment structures
- Collaborate with leadership to address contract concerns and escalate risk-related issues when needed
- Prepare and revise contract addenda to address risk exposure and ensure alignment with company standards
- Monitor compliance requirements and communicate critical contract terms to project teams
- Support insurance-related processes including certificates of insurance, bonds, and annual renewals
- Maintain organized documentation and support reporting within contract management systems
- Assist with additional administrative tasks tied to contracts, licensing, and project setup as needed
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in contract administration, contract management, or a related function
- Background in construction, real estate, or a related industry strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of contract language and risk mitigation practices
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of work under tight deadlines
- Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with contract management systems is a plus
