What You'll Be Doing as a Part-Time Legal Administrative Assistant:
You will wear many hats, but your mission will be clear: to support the attorneys and provide an exceptional client experience from start to finish.
You Will Be the Client Intake Champion:
- Manage the frontline of communication, pre-screening new leads via phone, email, and our website.
- Conduct detailed and empathetic intake interviews to understand client needs and determine case viability.
- Seamlessly guide new clients through our onboarding process, helping them with forms and gathering key documents like driver's licenses, signed agreements, and HIPAA forms.
- Schedule consultations, send out intake packages, and follow up with friendly reminders to keep the process on track.
You'll Be a Case Management Maestro:
- Become an expert in our case management system (CMS), ensuring all client data and intake records are meticulously accurate.
- Take charge of requesting, tracking, and organizing crucial documents like police reports, medical records, and medical bills.
- Handle the logistics of filing, mailing, and tracking important court documents and motions.
- Coordinate schedules for hearings, depositions, and mediations, ensuring all parties are informed.
You'll Be a Drafting & Support Dynamo (Under Attorney Supervision):
- Gain incredible hands-on experience drafting a wide range of legal documents, including:
- Discovery requests and responses.
- Subpoenas, spoliation letters, and FOIA requests.
- Pleadings, motions, and affidavits.
- Client correspondence and powerful settlement demand packages.
- Cover letters for settlement distributions.
