At Carolina Eye Doctors, we’re a specialized optometry practice offering advanced care in dry eye disease, myopia management, specialty contact lenses, and aesthetics. We’re looking for an Optometric Technician who thrives in a collaborative environment, loves patient interaction, and is excited about continuous growth through cross-training.
Job Description:
- Perform pre-testing (visual acuities, topography, OCT, meibography, axial length, etc.)
- Assist with specialty procedures (dry eye treatments, contact lens training, aesthetics support)
- Educate patients on eye health, products, and treatment plans
- Manage patient flow and support doctors in delivering seamless care
- Document accurately in Revolution EHR
- Collaborate with doctors, opticians, and front desk team to create an exceptional patient experience

- Prior experience as an optometric technician
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
- Comfort with technology and willingness to learn specialized diagnostic equipment
- Flexibility and interest in being cross-trained across different roles in the practice

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
