Position Summary
The Corporate Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in collaborating with various departments to identify materials and finished goods that require disposition. This involves actively engaging with customers to obtain their input on aged inventory, ensuring that decisions are made based on accurate and timely information. The specialist is responsible for closely monitoring, analyzing, and managing the levels of aged materials and finished goods, which is essential for maintaining optimal inventory control. Effective communication is key, as the specialist must relay the dispositions received from customers to relevant departments, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned. Additionally, it is imperative that the specialist verifies that the agreed-upon dispositions are executed properly, thereby contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the inventory management process. The specialist serves as a central point of contact for facility inventory team, implementing corporate policies, maintaining system accuracy, and driving continuous improvement in inventory management practices.
Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management & Accuracy
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods inventory in ERP/MRP systems.
- Perform regular inventory reconciliations and cycle counts across facilities.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with corporate inventory control procedures.

Data Analysis & Reporting
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to monitor stock levels, usage trends, and aging inventory.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to support decision-making at the corporate level.
- Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to relevant stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with procurement, production, logistics, and quality teams to align inventory levels with production schedules and sales forecasts.
- Create SOPs to optimize inventory management processes across all 3 sites.
- Partner with plant inventory clerks and warehouse personnel to ensure consistent practices across all locations.
- Support finance in month-end and year-end inventory reconciliations and audits.

Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory and prevent stockouts.
- Implement standardized best practices for inventory management across facilities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material flow and storage efficiency.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or warehouse operations (manufacturing environment preferred).
- Beverage or food manufacturing industry experience is strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple facilities.
- Knowledge of GMP, food safety, and regulatory compliance (preferred).
Work Environment
- Office-based role with regular visits to manufacturing plants and warehouses.
- May require occasional travel between company facilities.
