JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will develop and maintain inventory for ancillary facilities. Responsibilities will include cycle counting, transacting material receipt and issuances, enterprise asset management (EAM), maintenance store development, and critical/obsolescence review. Focus on organization, identification, and potential automation of manual processes.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records and updating database of incoming and outgoing inventory, identify discrepancies with inventory reports.
- Work to ensure accurate inventory, and adequate stock levels. Meet demand of internal customer’s needs and increasing overall turns.
- Develop relationship with maintenance and management across all facilities. Emphasis on inventory control procedures, accuracy ensures automatic replenishment.
- Identify additional stock needs, evaluate min/max based on facility/regional usage. Reduce non-stock orders, controlling maverick spend by direction of contracts.
- Promotes safety policies and standards for department and projects.
- Relevant Supply Chain, Inventory, and Procurement Experience and/or Associates Degree.
- 3-5 years' experience.
- Experience with Analytics and Data Management, SQL, Access, Excel, Oracle, SAP or other ERP Software.
