Position Overview
This Expeditor Drapery role is responsible for coordinating materials, components, tools, and paperwork to ensure production schedules and quality standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively across departments, and takes initiative to solve workflow issues quickly and efficiently. This position plays a key role in maintaining production efficiency, reducing delays, and supporting on-time delivery goals.
What you'll do
- Keep production moving by coordinating materials, supplies, and paperwork between departments
- Monitor production schedules and help ensure orders are completed on time
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to resolve delays or shortages
- Support rush orders and changing production priorities
- Identify workflow issues and help improve efficiency
- Check for product defects and report quality concerns
- Follow company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
- All other duties as assigned
Who you are
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous manufacturing, production, or textile experience preferred
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
- Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials up to 40 lbs. with assistance when needed
- Ability to perform repetitive hand movements, bending, reaching, and twisting safely in a manufacturing environment
