About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Nutrition Consultant. This role is ideal for a clinician who excels in evidence-based practice, patient-centered counseling, and innovative approaches to diabetes management and nutrition therapy.
You will play a key role in empowering individuals to improve their health through personalized nutrition guidance, diabetes self-management education, and ongoing support.

Starting Salary: $125 Per Hour Plus Mileage
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct California culinary audits at 10 senior living communities every 6 months.
- Review menus for nutrition compliance
- Conduct nutrition assessments, develop care plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Lead group classes, workshops, or virtual education sessions as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and professional standards
- Contribute to program development, quality improvement, and patient engagement initiatives.
- Stay current with emerging research, guidelines, and best practices in nutrition
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
- Bachelors or masters degree in nutrition, or related field
- ServSafe Certification Preferred
- Minimum 5 years of clinical or counseling experience
- Strong communication, motivational interviewing, and patient education skills
