Job Title: Storeroom Attendant – Integrated Supply
Job Type: Contract (6 Months)
Location: Ripon, Wisconsin
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Job Summary
The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and inventory operations at a customer site. This role involves receiving, stocking, issuing, and maintaining inventory while ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and within a small team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials, tools, and equipment; verify shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort, label, and organize inventory in designated storage areas such as racks, shelves, and bins.
- Pick, pack, and issue materials to site personnel while maintaining accurate records of transactions.
- Perform data entry and maintain inventory records using computerized systems.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Identify discrepancies and report inventory issues; maintain error logs and assist with corrective actions.
- Generate requisitions to replenish stock as needed.
- Deliver tools and materials to designated work areas within the facility.
- Inspect tools and equipment for wear and damage; report issues to supervisors.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, servicing, and lubricating equipment when required.
- Investigate and locate lost or misplaced inventory items.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Warehouse environment with heating; no air conditioning (large fans provided).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Steel-toe footwear is required.
- Long hair must be tied back; no loose clothing or dangling jewelry permitted.
- Work involves standing, walking, bending, and manual handling of materials.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 months of relevant warehouse or inventory experience.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations such as receiving, picking, packing, and stocking.
- Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, work instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Safety-conscious mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with inventory or ERP systems (e.g., SAP or similar platforms).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or related software.
- Basic mathematical skills, including calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
