Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
- If needed: Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document all medication-related activities accurately
- Follow individual’s rights policies diligently, ensuring dignity and respect are maintained at all times
- Perform l housekeeping tasks such as cleaning living spaces to promote a safe and hygienic environment
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to coordinate care plans and address needs promptly
- Support individuals goals and interest
- encourage independence and inclusion
- Document progress and communicate with a team
- Experience
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of safe patient lifting practices and proper manual handling techniques is essential
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications in medication administration or behavioral management are advantageous
- Familiarity with home & community care environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly to diverse settings
- Must have a valid drivers license and car insurance.
- Must have a high school deploma
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
