Role: Travel Stepdown RN, responsible for providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general units.
Responsibilities: Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs, administer medications and treatments, assist with cardiac procedures, observe patient conditions, respond to emergencies, document assessments, educate patients on cardiac health, collaborate with healthcare teams, and ensure safety and confidentiality.
Qualifications: At least one year of recent Stepdown RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications include PCCN and NIHSS.
Skills and Abilities: Critical thinking, interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use, physical ability to move equipment and assist patients, and mental resilience to work under pressure.
