Join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, as a Registered Nurse providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver care to patients with conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis.
- Utilize skills in EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures like endoscopies and bronchoscopies.
- Monitor patients using telemetry and assist with respiratory support like Bi-Pap, high flow oxygen, trachs, and vents.
- Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, providers, and other healthcare team members.
- Apply critical thinking, delegate tasks, and manage time effectively to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- 14-bed unit equipped with advanced technology such as patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and continuous telemetry monitoring.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS within 6 months of hire.
- PRN candidates need at least 1 year of relevant RN experience and all certifications at hire.
- Preferred: BSN degree and professional certification recognized by Magnet.
