Registered Nurse - Gastroenterology Lab

Role Overview: The position involves providing nursing care in both clinical and patient care settings, supporting a comprehensive healthcare system dedicated to community health improvement.

Responsibilities Include

• Assessing, planning, and delivering patient care according to established standards.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with infection control policies.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to coordinate patient services.
• Utilizing appropriate certifications and skills (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• Current NYS RN license required; relevant certifications preferred.
• Previous clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Comfortable working near equipment and disinfectants, using PPE as necessary.
