Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams following protocols and physician orders.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Adjust technical settings for optimal image quality and safety, applying ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment; conduct daily quality control.
• Document procedures accurately in PACS/RIS and medical records.
• Educate patients and assist hospital staff during procedures; respond professionally in emergent situations.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and safety reviews with medical physicists.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and active Ohio license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with compassion for patients.
• Proficiency in PACS/RIS systems; preferred 3 years of experience.
