- Perform diagnostic radiographic exams following protocols and physician orders.
- Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Adjust technical settings for optimal image quality and safety, applying ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment; conduct daily quality control.
- Document procedures accurately in PACS/RIS and medical records.
- Educate patients and assist hospital staff during procedures; respond professionally in emergent situations.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and safety reviews with medical physicists.
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography and active Ohio license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with compassion for patients.
- Proficiency in PACS/RIS systems; preferred 3 years of experience.
