What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist position at CARIN Alliance?
Role: Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for various tests, and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities: Data entry, process billing, prepare specimens for testing, maintain logs, and handle administrative duties. Travel to additional sites when needed.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or relevant training, or 3 months experience. Preferred: 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
Skills & Standards: Proven customer service skills, strong communication, ability to work independently or in a team, reliable transportation, flexibility, and pass color blindness testing.
Additional Requirements: Complete medical surveillance testing, including TB and immunizations, with accommodations available for medical or religious reasons.
