This part-time role is for a Periodontist providing surgical care in Sherman, TX, with only 2 days/month.
Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating periodontal and peri-implant diseases, performing full-scope procedures such as pocket reduction, osseous surgery, soft-tissue grafting, crown lengthening, implant placement, grafting, and sinus augmentation.
The role involves managing a variety of surgical cases, consults, and follow-ups, collaborating with dental team members to ensure efficient patient care, accurate documentation, and adherence to standards.
Qualifications include a DDS or DMD, completion of a CODA-accredited residency, active Texas dental license, and experience in periodontal and implant surgery. Board certification is preferred, and candidates should be comfortable with flexible scheduling and same-day surgical care.
