- Educate patients and address questions regarding nuclear medicine procedures.
- Maintain, inspect, and report equipment malfunctions, ensuring radiation safety standards.
- Prepare, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Operate imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images per physician orders.
- Document procedures accurately in patient records, adhering to safety policies.
- Follow safety and radiation protocols to minimize exposure.
- Perform additional duties within the scope of practice as assigned.
- At least one year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech.
- Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license and BLS certification.
- Preferred: ARRT or CNMT certification.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to move equipment and remain stationary as needed.
- Proficiency in reading instructions, using PC, and handling detailed tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage irregular schedules, and maintain professionalism.
