Medication Assistant - Memory Care

Position Overview: This role involves providing compassionate care to residents, primarily assisting with medication management, documentation, activities of daily living, and health monitoring.

• Maintain and assist residents with medication needs, including ordering and documentation.
• Support residents in activities of daily living, vital signs, first aid, wound care, and communication with healthcare professionals.
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ physical or mental states to leadership.
• Transport residents within the community for activities, dining, or other needs.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls, requests, and environmental hazards, ensuring safety.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must meet all state educational requirements for the role.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with elderly populations and dementia care is advantageous.
• Possess a calm, helpful, and respectful demeanor.
