- Assist residents with activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and transferring using proper techniques.
- Record vital signs, collect non-invasive specimens, and monitor residents' health status.
- Administer prescribed medications within scope of practice and document care outcomes.
- Support psycho-social well-being through personal care and recreational activities.
- Help with food preparation, dining, housekeeping, and laundry to maintain a clean environment.
- Communicate changes in resident condition and collaborate with nursing staff.
- Encourage participation in wellness and recreational programs.
- Participate in departmental committees as needed.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age 18.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
- Completion of state-specific certification courses (CNA, CMA, TMA) required.
- Maintain annual continuing education credits and required certifications.
- Good communication, attention to detail, and ability to follow protocols.
