Seeking a hybrid Medical-Surgical RN to provide bedside care and virtual nursing support in a technologically advanced Virtual Nursing Command Center.
Responsibilities Include
- Managing adult and geriatric patients with medical or surgical conditions
- Assessing patient status, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining records
- Supporting patients and families through education and discharge planning
- Assisting with admissions, discharges, care plan development, and care coordination
- Collaborating with virtual physicians, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and the Early Intervention Team
- Mentoring new nurses and ensuring evidence-based care implementation
- Performing tasks as a virtual nurse, including real-time patient safety surveillance and quality monitoring
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s preferred
- Minimum two years of nursing experience; preceptor and charge nurse experience preferred
- Active RN license in Missouri
- Strong communication, leadership, critical thinking, and time management skills
- Basic computer proficiency and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
