This full-time, contract to hire role is responsible for developing, administering, and enhancing a corporate web presence through an enterprise content management system while building modern web applications and supporting digital initiatives. What You'll Do
- Develop, configure, maintain, and enhance websites built on Sitefinity CMS or a comparable enterprise CMS platform.
- Design and develop custom widgets, modules, templates, and integrations within the CMS environment.
- Partner with Marketing, Communications, and IT teams to deliver scalable and user-friendly web solutions.
- Manage CMS content workflows, user roles, permissions, governance, and publishing processes.
- Build and maintain web applications using technologies such as .NET, Next.js, and/or Java.
- Optimize website performance, search engine optimization (SEO), accessibility (WCAG), and security best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CMS and web application issues across development, staging, and production environments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations, customizations, deployments, and support processes.
- Evaluate and recommend platform enhancements, upgrades, and third-party integrations.
- Support integrations with enterprise platforms including CRM, digital asset management (DAM), analytics, and marketing automation systems.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with Sitefinity CMS or a comparable enterprise CMS platform (such as Sitecore, Kentico, Optimizely, or Umbraco).
- Proficiency in at least one modern web development framework or platform, including .NET (C#/ASP.NET), Next.js (React), or Java.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
- Working knowledge of SQL databases and data retrieval techniques.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with Sitefinity certification or advanced platform expertise is preferred.
- Familiarity with headless CMS architectures and decoupled front-end frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with cloud hosting platforms such as Azure or AWS and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Knowledge of web analytics platforms including Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics is a plus.
- Experience integrating digital asset management (DAM) or marketing automation platforms is beneficial.
- A strong UX/UI mindset with the ability to translate design concepts into functional, responsive web components.
