What You'll Do
- Monitor and analyze daily process and quality performance; adjust critical inputs to maintain optimal operation
- Develop deep understanding of process equipment, chemistry, and data systems
- Lead root cause investigations for process, equipment, and product quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across assigned product lines
- Manage change management processes to ensure effective and sustained improvements
- Support key performance indicators related to safety, quality, cost, and operational excellence
- Partner with cross-functional teams including quality, operations, and leadership to ensure compliance and performance goals
- Communicate process performance insights to internal stakeholders and customers
- Participate in safety programs, audits, and initiatives; identify hazards and support improvements
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements including hazardous waste handling
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in chemical or specialty manufacturing
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to lead investigations and implement long-term solutions
- Proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and trend analysis
- Experience with change management and process optimization
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization
- Working knowledge of process control systems and engineering principles (preferred)
- Understanding of chemical processes including kinetics, fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer (preferred)
- Experience in regulated or cGMP environments (preferred)
- Ability to meet physical requirements including occasional lifting and use of respiratory protection
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed
