Our Direct Care Professionals provide one-on-one Community Living Support (CLS) and Respite services that help children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities build independence, develop life skills, and thrive in their homes and communities. What You'll Do

As a Direct Care Professional, you will provide individualized support based on each person's Person-Centered Plan. Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, household tasks, and organization.
  • Support individuals in developing independence, social skills, communication, and daily living skills.
  • Accompany individuals into the community for recreational activities, appointments, shopping, volunteering, and other meaningful experiences.
  • Encourage community inclusion while promoting dignity, choice, and independence.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
  • Accurately complete daily documentation, progress notes, and required records.
  • Communicate professionally with families, supervisors, and care teams.
  • Follow all company policies, Medicaid guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
  • Ability to pass criminal background screening.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist individuals with mobility when necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or behavioral health is preferred but not required—we provide training.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
