Blue Water Developmental Housing is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team supporting people with developmental disabilities.

This position is eligible for a $1,000 Signing Bonus for qualified new hires.

To qualify, you must:
• Be hired between May 28, 2026, and June 30, 2026
• Complete 30 days of active employment
• Remain actively employed and in good standing
• Complete all required training requirements

The $1,000 Signing Bonus will be paid on your first paycheck following successful completion of 30 days of employment.

Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate individuals for the role of Direct Care Worker. This role focuses on enhancing the physical and mental well-being of individuals with special needs. Responsibilities include maintaining a positive and safe living environment, monitoring progress, and reporting on individual achievements.

Locations: Richmond

Shifts: Full-time and part-time positions available, ranging from 16 to 40 hours per week. Shifts vary and include afternoons, midnights, and weekends.

Rate of Pay: $16.08 to $21.54 per hour, including State of MI premium pay, based on relevant experience and education.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Acceptable criminal record check and drug screen
Eighteen (18) years of age or older
Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record for insurance purposes.
