Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, hands-on personal care and assistance to residents with daily living activities (ADLs)
- Support individuals with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition
- Monitor and document resident health, behavior, and progress
- Administer medications as directed and in accordance with care plans
- Facilitate community outings, recreational activities, and social engagement
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment for all residents
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in direct care, caregiving, or a related healthcare setting preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a resident-first mindset
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
