Job Description
Deliver medications to customers throughout the service area during pharmacy hours of operation. The Duties include:
- Reports to work at assigned times
- Assists the pharmacy in preparing medications for delivery. This includes proper packing and storing.
- Inspects vehicle to maintain proper functioning
- Maintain a clean and neat interior and exterior of vehicle
- Drives to designated locations in a safe and timely manner
- Obtains proper documentation upon delivery to include signature
- Ability to field questions and concerns of customers to proper resource
- Maintains storage, distribution, and use of all pharmaceuticals for delivery
- Complies with all 340B program guidelines; maintains current knowledge of program requirements.
- Demonstrates efficiency in pharmacy computer systems, included but not limited to, QS/1, NRX, QS/1 POS
- Assists in contacting the customers on the delivery route
- Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state Board of Pharmacy and drug enforcement administration
Education and Experience
- Pharmacy registration or certification in the State of South Carolina
- Two (2) to four (4) year experience pharmacy experience
- Valid SC Driver License
- BLS/CPR Certification
Hours
Full Time, 40 Hours, Monday-Friday(9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.)
