EVS company specializing in providing exceptional housekeeping services to healthcare facilities is looking for an experienced EVS Manager for its location in Fort Worth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to housekeeping team for all EVS operations
- Recruit, interview, hire, and develop team member’s performance
- Ensure all employee files are kept up to date
- Create weekly schedules for work force and assign established work areas and or project duties
- Provide individual guidance, motivation, and instruction to employees
- Assign equipment to staff; monitor equipment, and maintenance needs
- Ensure that all equipment is clean and professional in appearance at all times
- Participate in facility required meetings and inspections
- Execute and maintain daily quality control systems.
- Demonstrate continuous ability to maintain and/or improve customer and patient satisfaction
- Collaborate with hospital administration and other departments to provide world class service
- Reward and recognition for hourly team members
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, The Joint Commission, OSHA, and industry regulatory agencies
- Assist housekeepers on an as needed basis

Requirements:
- Three years of EVS supervision/management experience in a hospital
- Knowledge and able to train floor crew on floor maintenance (strip & wax VCT, carpet care, tile scrubbing, etc.)
- Understanding and knowledge of EVS policies and procedures
- Able to train staff on department policies and procedures
- Customer service oriented & great attitude
- Computer literate
- Must be able to handle high demand/fast paced environment
- Hands on "attitude"
Skills:
- Bilingual (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED
- Some college preferable
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook
- Able to pass background check and drug screen
