As an In Home Therapist on a team in either Monroe County you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral health care that promotes independence and recovery in the consumers home and community environment. As part of a two person team you will work closely with the consumer, their families, and other community providers to promote a stable environment and ensure the proper mental health care to our most vulnerable consumer population.
Duties:
- Collaborate with consumers, their families, and other stakeholders to assess their needs and establish therapy goals.
- Utilize various therapeutic approaches such as psychotherapy, group therapy, and counseling to address mental health and substance abuse issues.
- Develop strategies to help individuals manage conflicts and improve their overall well-being.
- Deliver behavioral health services to clients in their homes and communities as part of a team.
- Provide support during crisis situations, including facilitating hospital placements when necessary.
- Provider crisis on call services via telehealth as part of the center wide crisis rotation schedule.
Requirements
- Master's degree in counseling or a related behavioral health field. Candidates enrolled in an accredited internship program may also be considered for this position.
- A valid driver's license and driving record that is insurable.
