Job Purpose: Responsible for maintaining organization and standard processing procedure of seized and recovered electronic media from clients.
Essential Duties
- Receive and log all seized recovered electronic media into spreadsheets as well as ERIN (when applicable).
- Create proper documentation for all recovered electronic media including proper completion of chain of custody paperwork.
- Take clear digital photos of all seized evidence.
- Effectively handle biohazard evidence.
- Support the clients and departments within the business unit by communicating the status of inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understanding of computers, document management; internet; hardware and software troubleshooting; electronic mail systems, such as Exchange and Outlook; Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree in Digital Forensic, Business or related field of study
- Possession of professional certifications and membership in professional associations is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
- Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
