Position Concept
- Provide analytical and administrative support for category management and sourcing activities.
- Assist in preparing sourcing events, analyzing supplier proposals, and maintaining accurate procurement data.
Primary Duties Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze spend data, supplier metrics, market trends
- Prepare reports and dashboards
- Assist in drafting RFQs/RFPs and bid packages
- Maintain contract records and process amendments
- Support day-to-day supplier communication
- Verify supplier compliance and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Identify opportunities to streamline data management and reporting
- Escalate complex problems to Category Specialist or Manager
Supervision
- Direct Supervision: None
- Indirect Supervision: Cross-functional teams, contractors, suppliers
Relationships
- Key Internal: Category Managers, Specialists, Engineering, Operations
- Key External: Suppliers, Contractors
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field
- Preferred: Specify if applicable
Licenses/Certifications
- Required: Specify if applicable
- Preferred: CPSM, CIPS, or working toward certification
Experience
- Required: 3 years of procurement or supply chain experience
- Preferred: Experience with eSourcing tools
